Graphic design is the merging of artistic creation with the practical world of commerce.

Artistic creation however, does not simply mean to make things look pretty. It must entail problem-solving techniques in order to successfully communicate a message.

Since 1996 Virginia Gist Design has created successful marketing tools for companies such as GE Plastics, 3M, SCB Computer Technologies, Inc., and Arkansas State University. These projects range from annual reports to multimedia cd-rom programs to websites.

At Virginia Gist Design, meeting the client's needs comes first. That is why I have made it my goal to be able to take on any project in any medium. That is why I design.
